Use of Original Work for Commercial Purposes in Most Circumstances means that anyone can copy, distribute, and share the work for all minor level commercial purposes. In other words you couldn’t enter any major contracts using the original work including iTunes, book publishers and distributors, and other major contracts and large scale sales. The original author holds the rights to their royalties for major contracts with any corporate distributors. Anything else, including derivative works can be use any way you like, just give credit where due, and if you are using hardly any of the work, or it is so fast it just doesn’t make sense to credit it, don’t worry about it. Use common sense, consider that if you look in the perspective of someone who does large scale purchases compared to someone who does small scale, always use the small scale perspective and contact the author if you feel you could be entering a large scale contract that they might want to be informed about.
